Eurovision tend to consist of an endless stream of highs and lows. This year, the Swiss go low, and might end up higher on the scoreboard than they’ve been in years. Really confusing, in other words!
We absolutely love the Swiss entry this year. This makes us very scared as this has never happened before, and we don’t quite know how to deal with it. On the other hand, life has taught us that if something is too good to be true, it’s usually not true. Therefore, we must admit we braced for impact before the first rehearsal today, ready to watch Luca Hänni crash land in the most spectacular manner. Then it turned out it wasn’t half bad and now we are questioning everything in life and consider booking a couple of sessions with our therapist to get help making sense of it all.
Perhaps Patrick Swayze it gyrating in his grave right now, but who cares, this is bouncy, entertaining pure fun and we cannot wait to throw ourselves out on the dancefloor at Euroclub when this comes on.
We’ve read somewhere that the last shall be first and the first last. Does this mean that Switzerland will win this year and Sweden will finish last? Let’s go to Tel Aviv and find out!
