Our night: everlasting music school, lovely ambassadors, jury final and disco partisani

So, surprise, surprise, yesterday was also fun:

We woke up in sunny Mouraria, our new favourite part of Lisbon, apart from when the church bells are ringing. We worked real hard at our regular jobs for a few hours, while playing Philip Kirkorov’s “disco partisani” on repeat. Then we went to Metropolitana Music school, where Alexander Rybak was teaching the Eurovision stars of tomorrow to smile while playing. We figured he should have had a class for several of the Eurovision stars of today also. Like Netta or the Armenian bloke.

We sat through a concert of two hours where different kids played hundreds of classical pieces. We fell asleep a little, but definitely woke up when Alex said he wanted to talk them about fingering. We thought that was a little too Mikolas Josef of him, especially in a children’s school.
After eating up most of the Portuguese kids’ dinner, we went to the Norwegian embassy in a police escort. Guess Russia wasn’t so happy with their bad review this year. It was very nice to meet the Ambassador and his wife in their beautiful residence. They were super lovely, but we fear the Norwegian guest left a rather strange impression, as Rybak kept insisting it was Sunday and several people claimed Ukraine won Eurovision last year. Also, the Cultural Minister was replaced by her fellow politician Abid Raja since her liking to young and beautiful boys might have been a problem in Eurovision.

Make way, Norwegian celebrity bloggers coming through!
The Ambassador’s wife Elisabeth was super excited to meet us and the feeling was mutual, it turned out!

Anyways. We just said that we were Swedish, gave the Ambassador an apologetic smile and rushed off to the jury final of the first semi final. Read all about that here. While there we also got interviewed by Spanish radio, where we said that the we loved Italy and that Spain would finish 22nd in the final. Also got interviewed by the regional Norwegian newspaper Agderposten. They wanted pictures, so we sent them pics of us with all the lovely men we have met in Lisbon, totally forgetting about the fact that both our mothers-in-law read this newspaper on a daily basis. Must get a PR adviser for next year.

Then we moved on to EuroClub, where there was supposed to be a Nordic night. It entailed the Danes getting drunk in the bar, two Maltese singers on stage and finally the Swede. They were all very good, although we had a slight breakdown when Benjamin was doing his dirty moves 2 meters from our faces and we couldn’t get our camera working. No pictures, but we swear to God it happened.

Today we woke up to the news that Norway’s largest newspaper Aftenposten has an interview with Mikolas Josef. We thought it was excellent, and then it turned out we actually wrote it. Did not know this on beforehand, but we’re super happy to have a new job to get back to. Before that, though, there are important issues to be solved: Turns out the entire Italy is in distress because we wrote that Ermal Meta has RED hair. We need to investigate this very closely before this ends up in a gossip mag and becomes a fact. Stay tuned!

  1. With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it
appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help protect against
content from being ripped off? I’d definitely appreciate it.
